These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Balanced Paws website and your engagement of services from Mountain Cabin Naturals, LLC, doing business as Balanced Paws Small Animal Massage & Therapeutics ("Balanced Paws," "we," "us," or "our"). By booking a session, submitting an inquiry, or using this website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Not Veterinary Care

Balanced Paws provides small animal massage, Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), herbal and veterinary cannabis consultations, and related wellness and training support. These services are complementary and supportive in nature.

• Balanced Paws is not a veterinary practice, and Lynnette Hampton is not a licensed veterinarian.
• Nothing provided by Balanced Paws is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and should not replace veterinary diagnosis or treatment.
• You are responsible for maintaining your pet's relationship with a licensed veterinarian and for disclosing any massage, laser, or herbal/cannabis support to your veterinary care team.
• Balanced Paws may communicate with your veterinarian or other care team members to coordinate care, with your consent.

2. Assumption of Risk & Liability

Hands-on massage, laser therapy, and handling of animals carries some inherent risk, including but not limited to scratches, bites, aggravation of an existing condition, or unexpected reactions.

• By booking a session, you confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, your pet does not have a contagious illness, a known history of aggression that has not been disclosed, or a condition that would make participation unsafe.
• You agree to disclose your pet's full medical history, current medications, and any known sensitivities prior to the session.
• You assume the risks associated with your pet receiving these services, and agree that Balanced Paws and Mountain Cabin Naturals, LLC are not liable for pre-existing conditions or outcomes outside Balanced Paws' reasonable control.
• This section does not limit liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct, where not permitted by Colorado law.

3. Herbal & Cannabis Products

Herbal and veterinary cannabis recommendations are educational and supportive. Any herbal products purchased are priced separately from session time. You are responsible for confirming any herbal or cannabis support with your veterinarian, particularly where your pet has existing health conditions or takes other medications.

4. Bookings, Cancellations & Payment

• A free 15–20 minute on-boarding consultation is offered before your first paid session.
• Session and class pricing is listed on the website and may be updated from time to time; the price confirmed at booking will apply to that session.
• Please provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee.
• Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Community Massage Classes

Community massage classes are limited to a maximum of 6 participants per session and are intended to teach pet parents general, at-home massage techniques. Class instruction is educational and is not a substitute for individual veterinary or hands-on professional assessment of your pet.

6. Service Area

In-person services are offered in Summit County, Colorado and surrounding counties, including at-home visits in some circumstances by arrangement. Virtual consultations are available regardless of location, subject to applicable law.

7. Website Use

This website and its content (including text, images, and the Balanced Paws name and logo) are the property of Mountain Cabin Naturals, LLC and may not be copied or used without permission. We aim to keep information on this site accurate but do not guarantee it is complete, current, or error-free.

8. Photos & Testimonials

With your permission, we may use photos of your pet and testimonials you provide for marketing purposes, including on this website and social media. You may withdraw this permission at any time by contacting us.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Summit County, Colorado.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services or website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
